Prayer for Direction

Father,

I come to You in the name of Jesus, and I thank You that You are a God who speaks and makes the path clear. I thank You that I am not left to guess, and I am not without direction. You order my steps and establish my way. I bless You and give You glory.

Lord, I come into agreement with truth. Your Word says that You direct my steps, so I refuse to believe that I am without guidance. Where there has been uncertainty, I acknowledge that I have either not fully listened or not fully aligned, but I will not remain in that place.

Your Word is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, dividing what is not aligned, so let it do its work in me. Where my thoughts have been scattered, bring them into order. Where I have been distracted, refocus me. Where I have been hesitant, settle me in what You have already spoken.

Father, I lay down every need to control the outcome. I release the pressure to figure everything out in my own understanding. I will not lean on what I think—I will trust what You have established.

Where I have been waiting out of fear, correct me. Where I have delayed out of uncertainty, make it clear. Where I have moved ahead of You, bring me back into alignment.

Set my steps in order. Let there be clarity in my decisions and confidence in my direction. Remove confusion, remove noise, and remove anything that is competing with Your voice.

I come into agreement with heaven. My steps are ordered. My direction is established. I am not moving randomly, and I am not without guidance.

I will move when You say move. I will stay when You say stay. I will not hesitate, and I will not second-guess what You have made clear.

I receive direction. I receive clarity in my next step. And I walk in it with confidence.

In Jesus’ name, amen.
