Prayer for Peace

Father,

I come to You in the name of Jesus, and I thank You that You are a God of order. I thank You that peace comes from You, and it is not dependent on what is happening around me. You are steady, You are constant, and You do not change. I bless You and give You glory.

Lord, I come into agreement with truth. Your Word says that You will keep me in perfect peace when my mind is stayed on You, so I reject every place where my thoughts have been scattered, anxious, or unsettled. I will not allow my mind to be governed by what I feel or what I see.

Your Word is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, dividing what is not aligned, so let it do its work in me. Where there has been internal noise, silence it. Where there has been anxiety, correct it. Where my thoughts have been out of order, bring them into alignment with truth.

Father, I lay down every burden I have tried to carry on my own. Every anxious thought, every restless concern, every place where I have tried to control what is not mine to control—I release it now. I will not hold onto what You have not given me.

Set my mind in order. Let there be no division between what You have spoken and what I allow myself to think. Where I have replayed what is not true, correct it. Where I have focused on what is uncertain, shift my focus back to truth.

I will not be moved by pressure. I will not be unsettled by what is around me. I will not allow fear or anxiety to take the place of peace.

I come into agreement with heaven. My mind is steady. My thoughts are settled. My heart is at rest.

You are in control, and I trust You.

I receive peace now—not temporary, not dependent, but established. And I remain in it.

In Jesus’ name, amen.
